Job Overview

Are you ready to join the Un-carrier movement?

The Senior Solutions Architect develops innovative solutions and is responsible for the solution design strategy as we migrate to an o9 platform. They make recommendations for new procedures and overall architectural approach, partnering with senior level Architects. They work on significant and outstanding issues where analysis of situation or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. They exercise judgement in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for acquiring results. They build networks to coordinate changes and oversee successful implementation of solutions across teams.This role will primarily begin with Network supply chain domain and in future further expanding to Device Supply Chain and other transformative initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

Technology and Systems

  • Integrated Supply chain key functions: Planning, Ordering, fulfillment, Forward & reverse logistics distribution & warehouse mgmt, including leading the technical solution on cross domain conversion and implementation of system using 09 app suite.

  • Cover Analytics & Reporting

  • Owns E2E solution design, strategy across teams.

  • Authors the following artifacts: Concept Architecture, Top 25 System Impacts and E2E Solution Architecture document.

  • Ensure High level and low-level solution design document are detailed in a timely fashion.

  • Support the definition and adoption of common software development processes.

  • Carries out design process standards on assigned initiatives.

  • Future state Architecture landscape

  • Drive the team to a premier Integrated Supply chain system

Relationship, People & Project Management

  • Interacts with Senior management to craft and align solutions against desired minimum viable product scope.

  • Applies a broad understanding of the products, systems and technologies across the business portfolio and deep technical ability on integration of these components to deliver a cohesive E2E solutions for a given initiative.

  • Translates business requirements into technical requirements that the system analysts, product management and other technical team members drive into the project design and delivery.

  • Provides guidance to junior software engineers and mentorship.

  • Be able to drive consensus among other Technical SMEs

Innovation and Leadership

  • Own the overall technical design and end-to end solution design for assigned initiatives such as leading a conversion to o9 product suite.

  • Ensures quality, consistency and alignment of designs to TMUS standards and digital strategy.

  • Leads large cross domain initiatives that are supported by E2E Design, E2E Arch applies digital standards to project Solution Architecture, drives Technical Strategy and architectural tradeoff discussions.

  • Provides input into the definition of Digital Architecture standards as they are crafted.

  • Explore AI/ML opportunities in proposed solution

  • Staying ahead and abreast of the upcoming Architecture & IT initiatives at the enterprise level and bridging the details to the team for strategy & execution.

Strategy

  • Works towards practical solutions considering all teams, initiatives and long-term outlook.

  • Makes and implements sophisticated decisions to improve the quality, efficiency or ability to achieve revenue, profitability and strategic goals for the organization.

  • Incorporate IT Northstar vision as part of the design strategy

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree In lieu of Bachelor's degree, equivalent industry experience may be considered. (Required)

Work Experience:

  • 4-7 years Progressive experience in software engineering, enterprise architecture, technology leadership across multiple products, systems and/or platforms coupled with strong business acumen and executive presence. (Required).
  • 4-7 years Experience working in solutions design and enterprise architecture delivering IT solutions. (Required).
  • 4-7 years' Experience in Enterprise applications, PLM, middle-tier services, database, storage, distributed computing, virtualization and/or application technology. (Required)

Washington Pay Range : $134,700.00 - $182,200.00

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives. And since we are ALL owners, EVERY employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
