Summary:

Qorvo's fast-growing Power Management division focusing on Power loss protection, PM ICs, Motor Control, and Battery Management solutions for a wide range of Mobile, Consumer, IOT and Industrial applications is looking for an experienced Senior Applications Engineer to create next generation and world-class designs in power management solutions.

This position will be located in San Jose, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead proof of concept, solution design, and demonstrations to ensure QORVO UWBU out solutions competitions and secures target accounts.

• Synthesize customer and competitive insights to improve product definition and roadmaps.

• Project-manage the QORVO UWBU design in campaigns for assigned customers to ensure early involvement in the customer's technology roadmap and continuous and timely flow of information to all necessary parties within the Business Line and customer.

• Understand how ecosystem solutions can position QORVO UWBU in the best possible manner.

• Qualify sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements and establish QORVO UWBU's value proposition/position relative to the competition.

• Qualify the value of QORVO UWBU's products (strengths versus competitive products) and quantify the technical benefits derived from choosing QORVO UWBU.

• Own the block diagram process to ensure that the broader technical team understands the full system requirements.

• Deliver ongoing formal and informal knowledge sharing and product positioning to help assigned accounts understand the operational, financial, and business impact of QORVO UWBU solutions within their practice areas.

• Build relationships with sales team members, business lines, partners, and customers in support of sales team objectives.

• Analyze customer's technical objectives through the use of relevant data gathering techniques enabling the sales team to be more predictive, effective, and responsive to customer needs.

• Assist in educating Field Sales Engineers on new technologies, new product features, and their related business value.

• Position requires 25% travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation;

• Embedded systems architecture;

• Implementing data under Real Time constraint (RTOS);

• C, Java, or other scripting languages;

• Software development and delivery;

• Android and Linux environment;

• Wireless communications: BLE, Wi-Fi, or UWB; and

• Location Based services, Access Control, or Secure Payment.

BENEFITS:

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $183,456 - $196,286.69, relevant for the California Bay Area (subject to change dependent on physical location).

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
