Sr. Application Developer-Java/React

Our client is looking for a Sr. Application Developer who will be involved in designing, building, testing, and maintaining software applications. The right candidate will collaborate with business analysts to understand needs, then translate those needs into technical solutions using Java and React technologies. The Sr. Application Developer will possess strong programming, testing, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and mentor junior team members. This individual will also have the opportunity to lead small projects and contribute to larger ones.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Java development experience

• 3+ years building microservices using Spring Boot or similar frameworks

• 3+ years of experience writing and documenting REST APIs using OpenAPI (Swagger)

• 3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• 3+ years developing front-ends using a modern SPA framework

• 3+ years working with relational databases and writing SQL queries

• Minimum 3 years across the software development lifecycle (estimates, planning, communication, testing, etc.)
