As a Senior Software Engineer working on our Clarity team you'll help us develop, host and deploy modern native mobile and web-based applications to help patients and healthcare professionals manage diabetes. We ask all our engineers to generalize across the products/technologies we support as well as specializing deeply in one or two particular areas. For this position we are looking for demonstrated strength in Android native application development.

Education and Experience Expectations:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master's degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience.
At least 5 years software development experience

Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools. Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
Exercises good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
