Title: Sr. Engineer, Enterprise Analytics

Role Description
The Sr. Engineer will be responsible for the creation of data models, queries, and related tools for Enterprise Analytics and other analytics teams. They will work with analysts and Tableau developers to build out views, tables, and streamline direct queries to support our analytics teams and ensure standardization in data access and metric creation/display. This role will be responsible for the creation of analytics data model standards and patterns, and the enhancement of existing tools to better support the organization and our operational teams. This role will also be responsible for documentation and change management activities for all analytics data models, and will work with Data Engineering teams as necessary to move models higher in the ETL workflow.
Core Responsibilities
Leads build of new data models to support analytics, Tableau dashboards and self-serve tools.
Creates standards for data extracts and SQL queries and optimizes efficiency and execution of analytics data models
Ensures new data models accurately measure KPIs, metrics, and supporting details and documents code and standards for use in dashboard creation and other data models.
Collaborates with internal program and analytics staff around all evaluation and analysis activities
Handles new requests for internal and communicates changes with external partners
Leads the creation of visualizations and patterns to communicate actionable metrics
Establishes relationships with internal and external partners to ensure creation of standardized dashboards
Assists in creating uniform business rules that will be used in visualization and dashboard creation

What weâre looking for
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
4 or more years of data engineering or analytics engineering experience
Proficient in SQL and data modeling, and experience building new data models to support analytics functions
Azure Data Factory experience (orchestration and automation experience in an Azure environment preferred)
Experience working with Tableau developers and diverse technical and non-technical teams to build and validate models
Ability to communicate clearly to stakeholders and internal team members, and to lead effective change
Healthcare experience preferred
Business process understanding
US work authorization
