Sr. Analyst of Technology Governance

Immediate job opening for a Sr. Analyst of Technology Governance.

The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for processing, organizing, and reporting the technology governance process according to new and established standards. They will work directly with the Manager of Tech Governance to define and maintain the procedures, work instructions and work products.

o Produce executive level presentations for executive and technical Governance forums

o Produce and distribute periodic data driven portfolio management reports to stakeholders as defined by the Communications Plan

o Document/maintain Governance procedures and work instructions

o Maintain and track portfolio data according to defined processes and work instructions

o Perform testing of database applications

o Analyze portfolio data and formulate corrective actions plans, as appropriate

o Perform audits to ensure process adherence and consistency of practice

o Contribute content and manage files via Enterprise Collaboration Platforms (i.e., Confluence and SharePoint)

o Admin related duties including scheduling meetings and tracking action items

Required Qualifications

o (BA or BS) Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business or Finance

o Four to Six (4 - 6) years of professional experience

o Excellent skills in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

o Practical knowledge of Project Governance

o Solid understanding of Project Management Standards (PMBOK)

o Understanding of Agile and Waterfall processes

o Understanding of database technologies

VIEW JOBS 1/7/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-07T00:00 Job Description Job Number: R0043511 Mobile Technology and Policy Analyst Key Role: Serve as a commercial mobile, wireless systems, and technology subject matter expert in a small team to analyze federal government policy and conduct technical research assessments. Analyze wireless and mobile architectures, next-generation devices, systems, and wireless technologies to support DoD mission requirements. Identify key regulatory, technology, and commercial industry developments, lead assessments of major wireless and mobile trends and emerging technologies, and assess potential impacts on DoD strategy and policy. Demonstrate proficiency and subject matter expertise in commercial mobility and wireless systems to facilitate technical and planning meetings. Provide policy, analytical, and technical reports to DoD senior leaders and deliver summary executive findings to senior DoD leaders. Collaborate with mobility subject matter experts across the federal government forums. Interface with senior military officers, DoD civilian executives, and leading industry experts. Basic Qualifications: * 6+ years of experience with supporting a US government office in an information, communications, or technology (ICT) area * 4+ years of experience with wireless and mobile technologies, including policy analysis, wired and wireless mobile infrastructure and architecture, mobile devices and operating systems, mobile applications, and enterprise deployments * Knowledge of the commercial wireless and mobile industry, including assessing applicable technologies for US government for unclassified and classified use * Ability to comprehend, integrate, and present technical, management, and policy issues to senior level executives and lead working groups * Ability to work on the client site in the Arlington, VA, Crystal City, VA, and Mark Center, VA areas * TS/SCI clearance * BS degree Additional Qualifications: * Experience with analyzing DoD, federal, state, or corporate-level policies and recommending changes for the implementation of DoD-specific policies * Knowledge of wireless spectrums and standards, including 3GPP and ETSI * Ability to collaborate with foreign mission partners to support coalition mobility efforts * Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
