This position drives a culture of analytical thinking and data driven decision making with a strong focus on Insights and Actions within the J&J Orthopedics Business Units. This includes, amongst other tasks, partnering with multilevel platform leadership and other cross-function team members to, collect data, process analytical insights, analyze business performance, and build detailed plans to improve performance.

This person brings intellectual curiosity, analytical rigor, ability to influence decisions at the highest levels within the organization and build/sustain a culture of data-based and analytics-outcomes decision making in the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage latest analytical models and tools including Data Discovery solutions, Dash boarding Suites, statistical techniques and predictive modeling to provide continuous updates and insights at all levels of the organization in the form of standard reports and scorecards, ad hoc analysis, strategic plans and forecasts, new product business cases and advanced analytics insights.

• Develop and manage ML sales forecasts to support senior leadership in sales, marketing, and finance

• Support Business Units diagnostics process and support the Platform Leadership Teams with relevant and predictive business performance insights.

• Provide analytics coordination for all Business Units including working with local commercial operations and support groups (e.g., SCG, GBI, ProfEd) on Account level analytics, Customer Segmentation and deep dive analytics.

• Facilitate Business Planning (BP), Strategic Planning Process & long-range forecasting process in close partnership with Finance, PMOs and Business Units

• Support the development of BP guidance document in partnership with cross functional teams.

• Create and maintain dashboards for analysis of US-DPS platform metrics including back-end data management and consolidation as needed

• Partner with franchise, Business Units teams to help identify and track metrics to optimize spending on projects, FSO deployment, measurement of outcomes, optimization of resources and overall health of the business.

• Partner with key cross-functional stakeholders including Business Units, R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain and GBI to implement end-to-end measurement, attribution and optimization capabilities from Strategic Plan objectives to commercial execution.

• Participate in training sessions for cross-functional teams to encourage adoption of new analytical tools

• Provide support for key executive reviews including deck preparation, data collection/analysis and consolidation

• Recommend and implement ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality. Propose tools and languages to marry data sources together to hunt down opportunities provided by the data acquisition

• Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining and production and leverage large volumes of data

• Automate work to build pipelines to harness data from their source to be used in advanced analytic techniques.

• Work with different teams/groups within/outside the organization and supplier partners to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery of the projects.

• Identify, design, develop and test database architectures and largescale processing solutions.
