Provide high quality analysis and insights on sales, performance, and innovation, specifically related to Wendy's product categories. Candidate will provide financial recommendations to marketing leadership and cross-functional business partners, by evaluating The Wendy's Company and Franchise performance to make well-developed, data driven recommendations that will increase sales, profitability, and ROI. Serve as finance partner with business function for marketing, and partner with cross functional teams (R&D, Digital, Insights) and franchisees to drive profitable growth for the Brand.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitability through analysis of restaurant and/or product performance, including sales volumes and growth, benchmarking, and key business performance metrics. Assess drivers of restaurant/product performance and provide insights/recommendations to drive profitable growth.

• Perform special projects as directed by VP Finance and Director as requested. Projects may include ad hoc analysis in partnership with peers across Operations execution, Marketing & Innovation, and/or Development.

• Support the development of the annual budgeting process, monthly forecast, and strategic planning process relative to the function supported

• Generate and support the development of reports utilized by executives and their teams to evaluate restaurant or product performance in various categories including sales, food cost, labor expense, etc. Interpret metrics and results to provide leadership with key indicators of success.

What we expect from you

• Solid knowledge and experience in the development and application of financial, analytical and budgetary techniques, including statistical analysis. Strong working knowledge of GAAP, operations, supply chain, and financial analysis.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• 2 to 3 years experience in financial analysis position with large organization. Multi-unit restaurant and/or retail environment a plus.

• Experience with computer modeling and the ability to create and manage databases and Excel based financial models.

• Excellent attention to detail required

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position.

• The target annual bonus for this role is 10% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.

Pay Range: $77,000 - $131,000 Annually
