Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for applying business process knowledge and data analytics to develop, recommend and communicate timely, accurate, relevant, and actionable insights to support business and objectives.

Accountabilities:

  • Uses knowledge of business objectives, strategies, and needs to identify opportunities where data can be leveraged to achieve the desired business benefits.

  • Ask probing questions to translate business needs in order to build and design reporting solutions (metric management, dashboards, enterprise performance management).

  • Has an understanding of current data context, processes and availability, and how current data processes and existing data can be leveraged to achieve the desired benefits.

  • Prepares and analyzes data. This can include: locating, profiling, cleansing, extracting, mapping, importing, transforming, validating or modeling.

  • Applies query, data exploration and transformation, basic statistical methods and visualization techniques to create business insights or improve data quality.

  • Interprets results of analyses, identifies trends and issues, and develops recommendations to support business objectives.

  • Communicates complex information so that it is easy to understand and influences other to take action based on the useful information provided.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Statistics is required. BS in Information Technology is preferred.

  • A minimum of 2 years if relevant experience is required.

  • Experience in data query, visualization, dashboard and/or scorecard tools.

  • Must have advance Excel, Power Pivot and Power BI skills.

  • Must have problem solving and communication skills.

  • Fully Bilingual in Spanish and English verbal and written.

VIEW JOBS 11/7/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-05T00:00 What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health The Senior Analyst Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements. Accountabilities of this role: * Demonstrates decision making skills to make optimal purchasing decisions based on supplier and customer contracts, situational information, and all other available data for assigned product lines at the optimum cost. * Utilizes influencing, communication, and collaborative skills to partner with all internal customers (i.e. Sourcing, Finance, Operations, Sales, etc.) and external Supplier Partners to ensure timely delivery of products to assigned distribution centers and the efficiency of our Supply Chain. * Possesses technical skills around our purchasing systems (SCORE and SAP), Expediting system (EAI web based tool), reporting tools (Tableau, Business Objects, and MS Access/Excel). * Final decision makers for forecast and inventory related decisions for their assigned supplier portfolio. * Understands and meets goals for Service Level, Days of Inventory on hand, purchase order expediting, and others as established by the management team. * Runs and analyzes data from multiple data sources to understand the root cause of a problem or low metric and to have quality discussions with supplier partners. * Develops long term relationships with supplier partners to continually push to improve purchasing processes. Qualifications: * A minimum of a Bachelor degree is required; Engineering or Material Management fields are preferred. * A minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred. A combination of education and previous COOP/Internship experience will be considered. * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access (Vlookup/run pre-built queries) is required. * Experience with purchasing systems is preferred (SCORE, SAP, etc.) is preferred. * Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytic skills. * Must have organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. * Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, financial acumen, and product knowledge. * Fully Bilingual in Spanish and English oral and written is required. * Availability to travel 10% of the time is required.
