Role Overview:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will collaborate with leaders in Finance and Recruiting to assist with providing capital and pricing to LPL's advisors for acquisition. You will be responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and verifying prospective advisors' prior firm financial statements and reviewing Analyst work concerning modeling those assets. The team is integrally involved in strategic investment analysis and C-suite level reporting. We are looking for a dynamic and influential finance team member with strong business acumen, corporate finance knowledge, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, interpret, and verify prospective advisors' prior firm financial statements.

  • Work closely with internal LPL departments and prospective advisors to determine pricing models for new advisors.

  • Conduct financial analysis to determine the profitability of the assets.

  • Act as a business partner between multiple LPL departments to ensure all contract accommodations are accurately documented and tracked appropriately.

  • Ad-hoc data analysis, reporting, and dashboard building

  • Collaborate with management to ensure proper perspective is brought to decision-making.

  • Provide feedback on processes and present and implement enhancements as needed.

  • Prepare presentations and reporting to senior management

  • Develop deep knowledge of the wealth management industry

  • Ad-hoc analysis, research, financial modeling, and additional responsibilities as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field

  • 3+ years of finance experience in prior roles in FP&A, Treasury / Capital Management, Investment Banking / M&A, Consulting, and Accounting

  • Moderate to advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and financial modeling skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated ability to communicate analysis.

  • Strong communication, analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills are needed.

  • Ability to prioritize while being efficient and accurate

  • Ability to work within a team, take the initiative, show strong attention to detail, and be flexible

  • Dependable self-starters, can work independently, and run with asks that come with little initial direction

  • Focus on continuous improvement in all financial-related processes

  • Positive attitude, commitment to excellence and integrity

Pay Range:

$73,600-$110,400/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
