Working as an important member of the highly visible Global Development Finance team, the Sr Analyst

• Global Development Finance will play a critical role in providing strategic financial expertise and support to the Global Development and International team to evaluate, prioritize, execute, and accelerate Wendy's growth opportunities domestically and internationally. In this role, you will support various Global Development functions including, but not limited to, deployment of growth capital, select strategy & corporate development efforts, real estate planning, site selection, construction and franchise development. In doing so, you will have the opportunity to work with senior leadership, including supporting them on select 'special projects,' as well as other internal stakeholders and the franchise community.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional team to evaluate and advise on global new market strategy

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to support design to value savings initiatives and exciting non-traditional development opportunities (i.e. global dark/ghost kitchens, Fuel, and venture-stage brand extension initiatives)

• Provide insights on New Restaurants, Reimages, and Closures, including hindsight reviews of key performance metrics and ROI analyses using DCF and capacity throughput models; and monitor Franchise Financial Health & Expandability which requires coordination of an annual update taken to the Board of Directors

• Evaluate opportunities to deploy growth capital across the globe including US, UK, Canada

• Support the Global Development long-range plan and annual budget process

• Support the development, analysis, and communication of various strategic ad hoc projects for the Senior Leadership Team, Sr. Director of Global Development and International Finance, and other key stakeholders (both internal and external)

What we expect from you

• Bachelor's degree in Business (Finance & Accounting majors) or Economics with high academic achievement; MBA a plus

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a finance or analytical role; experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and/or strategy consulting required

• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated knowledge of financial valuation, microeconomics, financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting methods; and strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability of working cross-functionally in an effective and deliberate manner

• High proficiency in Excel, including demonstrated ability to build new, dynamic financial models and retrofit existing financial models using advanced formulas and large data sets

• Strong verbal and written communication and PowerPoint skills necessary to effectively interpret results and communicate them effectively to a diverse global organization

• Excellent attention to detail required

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position.

*The target annual bonus for this role is 10% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
