Job Summary:

As part of the Reporting Center of Excellence (COE), this position delivers standardized, accurate & actionable data in a timely manner that supports cross-functional and enterprise-wide teams, allowing them to make business decisions. Specifically, this position will play a key role in data acquisition, data manipulation, automation-techniques, and final report creation for both, report-writing and complex dashboard requests.

All data/information that this role interacts with, must be kept confidential per company guidelines.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Report Generation

  • Assist in the development and delivery of ADHOC and Project-Driven Reporting requests (e.g. identifying requirements, coordinating set-up, and investigating data sources/data via Data Mining and working with IS support)

  • Have experience and knowledge of Relational Databases to connect to data, merge data, and data mine using (e.g. ODBC, Teradata, DataLake, SAP)

  • Utilize advanced reporting techniques and software knowledge to standardize and automate output (e.g. Alteryx, SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, R)

  • Help QA Logic, Data, and Reporting Output

  • Communicate and disseminate report progress and status to Report Stakeholders.

  • Establish workflow documentation (e.g. Reports catalog, Definitions, Processes, etc.)

  • Support Enterprise Data & Reporting Strategies

  • Assist in the change management and migration of current Reporting COE business practices to align with our enterprise-wide S4 Reporting and Data Strategy.

  • Assist in working with cross-functional IS teams to optimize and centralize Reporting COE's best practices.

  • Report Maintenance

  • Assist in the maintenance of existing reports and dashboards

  • Ensure reports and dashboards are up-to-date and continue to be processed within the Reporting COE's Service Level Agreements

Qualifications:

  • Business, Mathematics, Computer Science-related Bachelor's Degree Required (Economics, Administration, International Business, Operations, Project Management, Statistics, etc.) or equivalent experience

  • 3-5 years of experience

  • Knowledge/ability to work with SAP, LPR modules & other ERP processes and a basic understanding of Master Data elements

  • Familiar with Relational Databases and Relational Database Management Systems.

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 Tools and Capabilities.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to pay attention to detail.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in SQL (or other Programming Languages including R, DAX, Python)

  • Experience with developing Power BI and/or Tableau Dashboards.

  • Experience in Process Optimization Techniques (Power Automate, Scheduling Systems, and Node Workflows)

This position focuses on data analytics, customer insights, internal/external accountability, and business growth. The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst focuses on driving business growth by understanding the holistic business model in-order-to make quick, but effect business decisions which can impact the P&L and Trade. Role Responsibilities: * Lead resource for Hershey Partnership Policy (HPP), Fill In Program, and Efficient Partner Program (EPP); Responsible for managing customer participation table (ensuring we monitor and add/delete sold to/key accounts) and compliance for all logistics programs by understanding the system processes used, reports generated, payments generated, and analysis; Manage any changes needed to the established policy/program as well as any related communications between sales and customers; Monthly monitoring of accruals and deductions associated to customer orders qualifying for efficiency policy/program along with quarterly customer deductions associated to earnings; Responsible for leading through ERP upgrade to S/4 HANA; Provide thought leadership on potential changes / modifications needed to Logistics Policies/Programs * Maintain reporting through table set up and BW queries; Monitor monthly report generation and HPP quarterly payments to ensure alignment with annual budget as well as perform budget trend and customer earning analyses; Utilize BW reporting established to help track and monitor policy/program earnings and trends; Provide support to the execution of authorized overrides that may be needed; Communicate exceptions and issues to upper management; Review and Provide Fill In Compliance Reports; Work closely with deductions group on any offsets to earnings that are needed * Support key supply chain activities with a focus on delivering measurable results and interaction with key supply chain decision makers in C-store and Food class of trade based on tactical and strategic imperatives.
