General Summary:

The Senior Analyst, Capital Markets is a database querying expert responsible for leading the analytics function necessary to maintain best-in-class $10Bn secured capital markets platforms. Responsible for data integrity of external reporting required for all securitized assets across loan, lease and floorplan ABS and conduit platforms; daily monitoring and accuracy of all SAS and Brio jobs and queries. Act as project SME and key IT liaison for maintenance of critical SEC required compliance. Perform ad-hoc data analysis, lead data/technical work-streams of audits, compliance support, and other ad-hoc management reporting as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead analytics function and execution of $10Bn securitization program; daily maintenance of complex SAS and Brio jobs and queries for monthly servicer reporting; configure and implement all new securitizations into reporting suite (including both servicer report creation and implementation into SAS/SQL programs); optimize asset analysis and conduct asset transfers for all ABS and conduit platforms; generate system data needed for ad-hoc analysis. Mentor, train, and assist in the critical development of more junior analysts to ensure proper coverage across all secured funding channels.

  • Act as project SME and key IT liaison for maintenance of critical SEC required compliance related to RegAB II asset level disclosures required to keep retail ABS platform SEC-registered. Serve as key liaison for KPMG's annual RegAB II and servicing audit.

  • Provide due diligence, internal compliance, and ad-hoc data analysis support. Lead data/technical work streams for ABS and conduit transactions. Write test script and recreate reports for servicing system upgrade.

  • Maintain market surveillance efforts and performance reporting.

  • Support all Treasury related special projects and all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced MS Excel skills required. Strong database management and system querying knowledge required with experience using SQL, SAS, and MS Access.

  • Knowledge of financial markets required. Securitization and capital markets experience strongly preferred.

  • Ability to work in a highly time-sensitive, dynamic and growing environment with superb time management and multi-tasking skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.

  • Solid work ethic, team spirit and dedication to excellence are essential.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or economics required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a quantitative or system analytics based function required.

  • At least 2 years of recent Capital Markets/Treasury experience preferred.

  • Auto finance or banking industry experience is strongly preferred but not necessary.

Physical Requirements and Working Condition:

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
