Workday's Business Technology (BT) organization continues its mission to deliver unparalleled value to our business partners and customers. To support this mission, a small, but mighty team is responsible for developing a long-term vision for BT, setting goals and objectives and ensuring that we have the right plans in place to move with speed at scale. The team collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, business partners, and executives to understand the needs and priorities of the business, and supports the development of strategies that will help BT meet those needs.
About the Role
The BT team is looking for an experienced analyst to join the team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for
planning, prioritization, design, development and deployment of annual planning systems and tools. In addition, they will support BT in designing and implementing product roadmaps. This individual will establish strong relationships with peers and influence future process improvements. We are looking for someone who is analytical, able to multi-task across competing priorities and passionate about helping others.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with cross-functional teams and business partners to gather and document requirements for annual planning and product roadmaps
Conduct tool discovery
Tool design, development, implementation and support
Educate stakeholders on tools and technical best practices
Partner with leaders and business partners to assess existing processes; find opportunities to redesign and take action to unlock value and drive efficiencies
Partner with team members and Finance business partners to develop financial dashboards to ensure the organization is staying on target during annual planning process
About You
Basic Qualifications
5+ years experience with financial modeling and/or large scale annual planning.
5+ years of experience using a variety of collaboration tools (ex. Google suite, Smartsheet, etc.), data analytics applications and programming languages
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
Other Qualifications
Great teamwork and interpersonal skills
Experience working independently on efforts from requirements to test to launch to ongoing maintenance / support
Drive for continuous learning and continuous process improvement
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze data to provide meaningful insights that can be translated into action
Strong organization skills
Enthusiastic self-starter who thinks strategically, creatively solves problems and has a growth mindset
Affinity for technology and innovation, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Business strategy, operations or planning function at a large enterprise company/firm

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $132,000 USD - $198,000 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $106,400 USD - $198,000 USD
