SUMMARY and PURPOSE OF POSITIONThis position is responsible for establishing and implementing strategies and tactics that will develop and continually enhance the business and market leadership of OhioHealth. This position will be accountable for executing business strategies to increase volume, revenue and OhioHealths overall market share.
This will be accomplished through aligning and connecting physicians, coordinating and recruiting to complete the manpower plan, stabilizing physician groups at risk, and ensuring timely execution of the Primary Care plan. This position has responsibility for a Region in the Market and may be part of a care site or service line leadership team, and have systemwide responsibilities. This position is managing and leading business development projects for OhioHealth including business partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and market penetration through facility and program development.
The Sr Advisor develops and directs projects in conjunction with physicians, hospitals, ambulatory sites, other OhioHealth entities and outside management companies/consultants that target growth through volume, revenue and core market share. In addition, this position identifies, researches, and prioritizes new opportunities consistent with strategic goals of the strategy and business development division.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education, Certification, Registration, LicenseMaster's DegreeField of Study: Business or Public PolicyYears of Experience: 10 years of healthcare management exp. and a Bachelor's DegreeMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation, Credentials, Licenses: Masters Degree, preferably business or public policy or Bachelors Degree with minimum of 10 years of healthcare management experience
Successful candidate to have a minimum of 5 years of healthcare business development activities including physician development activities.Kind and Length of Experience: 5 years experience in integrated healthcare environment encompassing hospital and physician components

The ideal candidate will have an MBA or MHA degree and is highly analytical with the ability to synthesize data into a clear and concise story. Must have executive presence and the ability to facilitate meetings.
