As a Senior Advanced Test Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing as part of a group of test professionals to test products and report any findings to responsible engineers or product developers. You will contribute to the design and development of test solutions, including the test software, to validate the requirements of products. You will be required to use various laboratory test equipment as well as to ensure the product's functionality and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Work with team leads to help design and develop special test equipment (STE)
Create and/or review test plans, test procedures, and test reports
Perform prototype, design verification testing (DVT), and formal qualification testing
Provide factory support for various production programs at the Norcross facility
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other Engineering discipline
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Test Engineering
Must be a US citizen with the ability and willingness to obtain a Security Clearance (Secret/Top Secret)
Experience with standard laboratory test equipment (Examples: AC and DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters)
WE VALUE
Experience performing Qualification testing (DO-160, MIL-STD-461, and/or MIL-STD-810)
Experience with RF laboratory test equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Network Analyzer)
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
Ability to execute project subtasks in order to meet program schedules
Ability to generate clear and precise technical documentation
Ability to work in a cross-functional, globalized team environment
Good oral and written communication skills
Basic computer skills (Visio, Word, Excel, MS Project)
Highly motivated
Ability to travel (up to 20%)
