Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
List the fundamental duties of the position
Provides administrative support to Plant GM and VP of Engineering. Requires in-depth knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures. Will play a key role in supporting PDX site culture and BE FLIR Values. Handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature. Collects and prepares information for use in discussions/meetings of staff and outside individuals. Prepares presentation materials for meetings. Makes high level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Include minimum education, work experience, knowledge & skills necessary to perform the functions of the job
Relieve senior staff of administrative functions that include a wide variety of complex & confidential situations
Arrange global travel arrangements
Prepares routine and advanced correspondence to include letters, memoranda and report
Provide support to other departments as necessary
Assist with Employee Activities such as quarter end lunches, holiday events, etc;
Manage Charity Giving program meetings/activities
Collect and prepare presentation materials for a variety of meetings
Work with leadership within and outside the company, as well as customers, vendors, visitors and other dignitaries
Must have 5+ years as an Administrative Assistant at senior level;
Must be advanced level in arranging global travel.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Must be flexible with a team player attitude
Bachelor's Degree preferred
