Sr. Accounting Manager

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, has strong communication skills, and ample experience in completing month end close. To be successful in this role, you will have a working knowledge of GAAP, NetSuite, Financial Data reporting, along with exceptional presentation skills. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial statements, invoicing, cash management, and cash flow reporting preparation Complete month end, quarterly, and annual close processes and procedures in a timely manner Partner with key stakeholders from the Finance organization to ensure compliance with all Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger, including preparing financial schedules and journal entries.

Use advanced accounting practices to oversee and resolve complex accounting issues involving financial statements, reconciliations and actual to budget variances. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions Develop policies and procedures to streamline accounting processes, automate manual tasks, and enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with multiple departments to gather financial data, provide insights, and support strategic initiatives.

Complete reconciliations of financial statements as needed, on demand payments, electronic fund transfers (EFT), draw downs, monthly payments, flex transfers, insurance claims, adjustments, stop payments, voiding checks, tracking investments, ACH processing, online bank transfers, and returned checks/ACH. Skills & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is strongly preferred; CPA required.

GAAP experience or strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices Extensive understanding and experience with month end close process MUST have experience with NetSuite, Microsoft Office (excel, word, etc.), Pivot tables Work Schedule: Monday
