Job Description Summary
The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the monthly financial statement close process. This position will also be responsible for managing the financial statement quarterly reviews and year-end audit. Additionally, this position will manage accounting staff, including reviewing various monthly journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations. This position will work closely with the FP&A group in ensuring proper P&L coding in accordance with Company budget. This position will work closely with operations to manage accounting over inventory, including year-end inventory counts. Additionally, this position will work closely with the Controller and outside consultants to maintain SOX compliance. Finally, this position will work with the Controller in preparing SEC financials.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the financial statement close process
Maintain reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts of the Company
Analyze and interpret financial and accounting information to facilitate internal management decision making
Manage outside audit and tax activities including the coordination and preparation of necessary reporting schedules and financial audits
Prepare Statement of Cash Flow on a quarterly basis
Work with Controller on SEC reporting on a quarterly and year-end basis
Review monthly and quarterly required tax filings
Forecasting and accruing for the annual Bonus payout
Review entries associated with revenue monthly
Manage the payroll function, including reviewing payroll runs, and payroll related entries and matters on a pay-period basis, both domestic and international
Work closely with FP&A to ensure proper departmental coding is occurring in accordance with Company budgets
Work closely with Operations to ensure inventory adjustments are processed accurately and that inventory is reconciled monthly and in line with third-party warehouse confirmations and managing year-end inventory counts.
Work closely with the Controller and outside consultants to document and refine the Company's internal control environment under Sarbanes Oxley ("SOX") 404(a).
Work with the Controller and other functional leaders to complete and manage periodic insurance renewals.
Special projects as assigned by Senior Leadership

Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or the equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training
CPA required
4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a Big 4 accounting firm.
Project management experience
Must be highly proficient in Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's, etc.
Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of GAAP
Professional & high integrity standards
Experience with accounting software is preferred.
Ability and desire to perform several tasks concurrently
Must possess excellent critical thinking, problem solving skills and superior attention to detail
Ability to work in fast-paced environment, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
Experience with NetSuite a plus, but not required
The hiring range for this position is $125,000 - $165,000 per year, which may factor in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
