Sr. Accountant/Supervisor

Job Description Job Description This person will report directly to the director of accounting and will be supervising 2 bookkeepers who pay bills and maintain accounting systems for various clients. This position requires significant client interaction, and the candidate must possess excellent communications skills.

Knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks is required. The role includes the preparation of various monthly management reports and respond to client inquiries. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in a dynamic rapidly expanding Organization and work on high end clients.

Our client base includes Hedge Funds, International Family offices, Architectural firms and real estate. We handle family office planning and accounting for multiple members of the Forbes 400. We do not handle local mom and pop operations.

No travel is required. Work in a pleasant environment. Tax work can be a part of the job duties if the candidate desires to work on that as well.

This position requires a minimum of 6 years’ relevant public accounting experience. Salary is commensurate with experience. Why commute to NY City work on the same quality clients closer to home.
