Bring your accounting experience and know-how to a dynamic, growing team at Robert Half Finance, now seeking a full-time Senior Accountant in the Fircrest, Washington area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for producing financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting.   • Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

  • Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary

  • Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors

  • Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations

  • Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.

  • Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives

  • Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary

  • Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management

  • Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

Requirements

  • Microsoft Office experience preferred

  • 10 Key Accounting experience

  • Efficient in ERP systems

  • Exceptional time management skills preferred

  • Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

  • 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

  • Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

  • SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus

  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

  • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

  • Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines

  • Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

  • Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions

  • Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

  • Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus

Position ensures compliance with federal and state billing regulations.
