Your main responsibilities in this position would include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This position requires top-notch analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.   • Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

  • Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

  • Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors

  • Provide monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

  • Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP

  • Engage in various department-wide initiatives

  • Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests

  • Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary

  • Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Requirements

  • Exceptional time management skills preferred

  • 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

  • Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

  • SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus

  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

  • Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • Efficient in ERP systems

  • Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines

  • Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued

  • Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger

  • Command of financial statement preparation

  • Deep understanding of taxes

  • Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus

  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired

VIEW JOBS 9/18/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-12-17T00:00 Job Description Job Title: Senior Accountant Department: Finance Reports To: Controller Prepared Date: 11/2017, 9/2018 POSITION SUMMARY: The responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include financial reporting; developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures; monitoring and maintaining financial systems; producing accurate and timely financial statements; and supporting reports to all levels of management. Abides by generally accepted accounting principles. Implements process improvement and customer service initiatives for the Crystal Clinic enterprise. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following but are not limited to: * Maintain general ledger and financial reporting systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and data. * Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of general ledger and financial reporting to ensure accurate and timely accounting output. * Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. * Oversee the monthly financial close process through the preparation of the draft financials. * Oversee the monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and individuals performing these reconciliations, assist in the resolution of issues in a timely manner, and ensure balances are properly supported. * Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual costs. * Review fixed asset record keeping for accuracy * Coordinate with external auditors to ensuring timely and accurate completion of all audit schedules. * Assist in planning and summarizing the annual physical inventory. * Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities and procedures relating to accounting. * Assist with payroll activities and special projects as necessary. * Assist with accounts payable and special projects as necessary. OTHER FUNCTIONS * Keeps manager informed on key issues. * Other duties as assigned.
