In the role of Senior Accountant, you will handle the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, the analysis and reconciliations of accounts, and the analysis of cash flow. You will also establish budgets and forecasts, prepare audits, and manage internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Major responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

  • Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests

  • Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

  • Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors

  • Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary

  • Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations

  • Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process

  • Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

  • Partake in various department-wide initiatives

Requirements

  • 7+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

  • Skilled at time management

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

  • Knowledgeable of ERP systems

  • High attention to detail

  • Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

  • Proficiency in fixed assets

  • Command of financial statements consolidation

  • Financial reconciliation experience

  • Solid understanding of financial statement preparation

  • Bank reconciliations experience preferred

  • SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus

  • Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

  • Self-starter and strong ethical standards

  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

  • Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued

No day is the same -- your expertise may be called on to fix an urgent issue or you may implement new ideas and modify equipment to improve efficiency. Working as a team with other technicians, machine operators, supervisors, and department managers, the Sr. Maintenance Technician will collaborate to resolve mechanical issues. Through preventative and predictive maintenance processes, the Sr. Maintenance Technician will develop and implement standard methodologies aligned with Niagara's maintenance strategies and champion continuous improvement efforts as well as assist with training in their designated focus area. What you would be doing as a Senior Maintenance Technician: * Demonstrate root-cause problem solving to identify and perform equipment repairs and improvements * Work directly with management to develop and execute projects involving continuous improvement, upgrades, and the resolution of reoccurring problems * Coach and mentor operators, technicians and other peers on maintenance and technical procedures related to high speed bottle manufacturing equipment * Plan, lead and execute preventative maintenance efforts to minimize equipment downtime * Participate in special projects on equipment upgrades or installations * Collaborate with your peers and team members to transfer specialist technical knowledge on Sidel, Krones, Husky or other equipment technology * Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job, and being available on call may be a requirement * Utilize your experience with Krones, Husky, Sidel, or other packaging or bottling equipment, and lead and develop others on the functionality and repair of equipment * Creating process improvements or continuous improvement initiatives * Utilize skills in fabrication capabilities such as cutting and welding (mig, tig or stick), and work with electrical systems including 480VAC & 24VDC power * Read and interpret schematics for process and instrumentation diagrams, and repair variable frequency drives, servo motors and controllers, communication systems (asi-bus, can-bus, profi-bus, ethernet), PLC input/output cards, and safety modules * Practice plant safety guidelines at all times and encourage your peers to practice safety all times * End each shift knowing you made a difference Profile of our Senior Maintenance Technicians: Minimum Requirements: * 5 years of work experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment * High school diploma or GED * Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments and levels of the organization * Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook * Effective communication of issues and solutions to cross-functional team members * Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic * Skilled in the use of shop equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill and lathe, and assorted power tools * Proficient skills with precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and depth gauges * Willingness to be a technical leader and trainer within a specific area of plant or machine center Preferred requirements: * 7 years of work experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment * Associate's Degree in manufacturing, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing, manufacturing automation or other similar manufacturing-related specialization * 4 years of experience in one of the following fields: blow molding, injection molding, packaging, or beverage * 4 years of experience with Krones, Husky, Sidel, or other packaging or bottling equipment * 1 year of experience leading and developing others on the functionality and repair of equipment * 2 years of experience creating process improvements or continuous improvement initiatives Life at Niagara: The Senior Maintenance Technician embodies the values of Niagara's culture, especially focusing in the following key drivers of success: * Lead Like an Owner: Do you thrive in overcoming obstacles and with a sense of urgency in achieving objectives? * InnovACT: Love making recommendations to continually improve policies, methods, procedures and/or products? * Find a way: Like to develop technical knowledge through learning from other experts? * Empowered to be great: Enjoy communicating effectively to resolve issues, teach others, and make improvements?
