Robert Half Finance has an opening for an experienced, driven Senior Accountant to provide leadership and know-how to a growing team. This is a full-time opportunity in the Alpharetta, Georgia area. As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting.   • When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests

  • Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

  • Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

  • Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

  • Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

  • Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external

  • Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives

  • Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary

  • Provide monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

Requirements

  • Skilled with ERP systems

  • Strong time management skills preferred

  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

  • Command of job costing

  • Construction project accounting experience desired

  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

  • Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

  • BA/BS in Accounting

  • 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

  • Detailed and have the ability work independently

  • Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

A Day in the Life: MarketDevelopment * Create and refresh short (one year) and long term (four year) global market development plans to inform the annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic planning processes. * Lead development of regional business and market development strategies and support execution by driving accountability and measuring and reporting results to senior leadership quarterly. * Continually evaluate and recommend timely adjustments of disease state strategy and execution tactics to meet changing market and competitive conditions, including revision of associated market models. * Identify key global market opportunities for share gain and category growth, leveraging market research and VOC to assess market opportunities and trends. * Represent the global business and be the subject matter expert during the Patient Access Accelerator (PAA) process, with the goal of developing strategies and measurable action plans to overcome regional barriers to adoption and improve patient access to our technologies. * Maintain a regular communication pathway with all regional marketing partners to share best practices, ensure alignment and measure progress. * Establish strong relationships with influential healthcare professionals including those in clinical and health economics. * Lead key opinion leader (KOL) and medical society/advocate strategy in pancreatic biliary health in conjunction with the Medical Affairs team to establish care guidelines, guide clinical evidence & value based care initiatives to establish programs that drive acceptance of key procedures. * Participate in the development of key marketing collateral and necessary branding materials required to grow the assigned business and ensure safe and effective use of our products globally. CrossFunctional Collaboration * Build influential partnerships across regional marketing, sales, medical affairs, HEPR and other groups to ensure the global operating plan is achieved. * Work with the Product Innovation Manager to influence investment decisions in technologies, therapies and services by leveraging subject matter expertise and global market insights. * Contribute to an environment of collaboration, trust, achievement and high engagement. Must Have: Minimum Requirements * BA/BSis required, MBA or advanced degree in Marketing preferred * A minimum of 7 years of experience is required in two or more of the following functions in the medical device space: product marketing, market development or sales,with a minimum of five years in a direct marketing role. * Experience influencingteams and working in a matrix organization. Strongand on-time execution focus with stakeholders including sales teams in adynamic environment with an ability to be agile. Experience working with key societies andphysician leaders to develop and execute strategic initiatives. * Strong quantitative,analytical, written and verbal skills. Proven track record of planning and execution. Ability to balance development of strategyplus experience in bringing that strategy to life through execution. * Executingin the shared service organization, business acumen and strong interpersonal skills. * Abilityto travel internationally as much as necessary for position (up to 40% travel).
