Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our financial reporting team. In this role, you will play a key part in producing accurate and timely internal financial statements, accounting reports, and supporting schedules. You will also be involved in a variety of financial activities, including month-end close processes, reconciliations, and general ledger projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about process improvement, data analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare internal financial reports (Consolidated Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss) with supporting schedules for management review.

• Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring accurate account reconciliations.

• Maintain and enhance financial systems and reporting mechanisms (including SAP, Excel, and Power BI) to optimize efficiency and data accuracy.

• Participate in month end, quarter end and year end closings.

• Collaborate effectively with team members across different departments and external stakeholders.

• Adhere to internal controls and best practices, contributing to a strong control environment.

• Compile and provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits.

• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.

• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.

• Build strong working relationships with corporate and segment teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other business-related field.

• 2 - 4 years of experience in related field.

• Strong analytical, reporting and review skills.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Excel, and experience with Power BI is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to think critically and meet deadlines.

Experience with SAP (or similar ERP systems) is preferred
