Sr. Accountant

Job Description Job Description Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a part time Sr. Accountant to act as a right hand person to their Finance Executive.

This is a fully remote position with the possibility of eventually converting to full time, permanent role. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $40 to $50 per year.

Job responsibilities: Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Cost reduction strategies to identify ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.

Responsible for closing the books at the end of each month. Manage and review accounts payable payment processing. Evaluate T&E expenses and propose cost-saving measures.

Recommend strategies to reduce costs and improve revenue. Qualifications: Associates Degree in accounting, finance or related field. 6 years of financial management and accountant experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and accounting software's (QuickBooks) or (Biill.com) Experience : Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, purchasing and variance analysis. Experience leading financial forecasting activities to predict future financial plans with FP&A. Strong knowledge of full cycle of Accounts Payable.
