  • Serves as the clients' point of contact for all matters, to build and maintain a long-lasting relationship. Monitors client contract for compliance and participates in the negotiations of base contract and contract modifications.

    Manages processes outlined in the contract and resolves challenges/issues. Handles higher volume, higher visiblity and more complex clients.

  • Serves as a main point of contact for client matters. Identifies and develops new servicing opportunities with existing clients to build and maintain a long-lasting relationship.

    This includes leveraging industry and PNC knowledge to inform customers of appropriate products/services, rates, and other opportunities. Serves as an escalation point and training resource to junior staff.

  • Actively participates in negotiating servicing agreements and servicing fees for existing clients if contract modifications are needed. Works directly with in-house counsel and clients on contract negotiations, including the review of the servicing agreements to ensure contract terms meet servicing guidelines.

  • Analyzes, assesses and documents client requirements. Forecasts and tracks key account metrics. Proactively identifies customization needs, and works with service partners to decision/implement.

  • Independently manages processes outlined in the contract and independently partners to resolves challenges regarding implementation and production issues. Serves as an escalation point for high severity requests or issues. Identifies the best solution to maintain a positive client relationship.

POSITION SUMMARY We need a strategic account executive to manage the Allina Health account (50,000 potential members) and to lead other key strategic initiatives including data and reporting, health management, wellness engagement, etc. Fundamental Components: Meets growth sales production, retention and profitability objectives for assigned book of business. Develops and executes a comprehensive strategic plan which results in increased sales and maximized profitability by maintaining and expanding penetration of existing products and cross-selling other Aetna products. Updates external constituents on Aetna capabilities to create business opportunities and/or enhance the perception and understanding of Aetna capabilities. Delivers organized, polished presentations of solutions, with benefits tied to the constituents business needs. Identifies and capitalizes on emerging trends in the marketplace by participating in community and industry events as an Aetna representative. Builds and maintains productive relationships with plan sponsors and brokers/consultants. Reaches senior levels within a customer/consultant organization and tailors message to effectively engage senior executives. Shares relevant industry and competitive data within and across business units and segments to support the development of new product initiatives. Mentors and supports service team, peers, and sales team. BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired: 7 - 9 years industry experience with complex national sales and/or client management. 5 -7 years Analytics EDUCATION The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
