Sr. Account Executive (Marketing & Advertising Agency)

Job Description Job Description Elevation Marketing is a mid-sized, full-service B2B only marketing communications agency, located in Gilbert, Arizona. Our client roster includes 40 companies with revenues of over $1B annually and a variety of other small and medium sized companies.

We are in growth mode and are adding to our team of outstanding, high-performing, ultra-driven, highly-collaborative team members to keep up with our clients and their demands on us. We’re looking for an Sr. Account Executive with agency experience . This position’s ultimate responsibility is to serve our clients, support our Client Services team and to help move projects through the agency.

This encompasses daily support and oversight for a number of accounts and projects. This includes, but is not limited to, communicating regularly with client(s) on status, deliverables, performance reporting, competitive intelligence analysis, meetings and other follow-up items. Due to the highly collaborative nature of agency work, this job is not remote and is based in our beautiful Gilbert office (Phoenix Area). The agency does provide two work from home days (or four half days) a month plus a solid PTO program and other agency benefits.

The agency is also closed for a week from Christmas through New Year’s. Duties and Responsibilities Client Service – to work both behind the scenes and directly with our clients to service their marketing needs. Marketing and General Support – creating and driving overall marketing tactics, specific projects and supporting Client Services team in a variety of tasks.

Project Management : Managing marketing and creative projects both traditional and digital. Event Management : Manage event and conference logistics, creative and other related items. Delivery of Projects – monitoring client projects and making adjustments as necessary to help meet the goals of our clients.

Problem Resolution – staying informed on all delegated client activities that are being performed and making sure they meet the goals and standards set forth. More Details Provide excellent client service and help develop relationships that lead to long-term engagements. Conduct regular communication and meetings with some clients to help support their needs and be an active client services resource for key clients.

Plan and help manage projects working with project managers. Initiate, coordinate and follow through with client projects to ensure success in timing and quality. Represent client’s interest to agency staff to ensure projects are on brand and on message.

Work with project managers on estimates and change orders. Keep clients and Client Services team up-to-date on all projects. Collaborate with account managers and internal staff including project managers, PR, copywriting, accounting, design digital and social media teams.

Involvement in regular account planning meetings and account services meetings. Consistently demonstrate the ability to successfully problem solve whenever challenges arise. Experience and Skill Sets 2-4 years of proven account service and client management skills in an agency environment.

Client-facing capabilities to interact with and grow account relationships. Ability to manage project from initial input to completion including creative briefs, timelines, status reports, etc. Ability to aggregate client input and provide substantial value to the creative brief and project input process.

Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with changing client priorities. Proactively make a positive contribution to the team environment. Degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, communications or related field.

Competence in independently initiating and executing both online and offline marcom efforts. Outgoing personality with ability to build, maintain and grow client relationships. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be a self-starter and learn quickly, thoroughly and in detail.

Compensation and Benefits Elevation strives to provide some of the best agency compensation and benefit packages in the great southwest. The job is in Gilbert, AZ (just off the Loop 202 expressway) and less than one mile from over 50 restaurants. Our business is all about collaboration, so we do not offer telecommuting currently, but we do offer flex hours depending on the position and clients.

Employees can start at any time between 7 AM and 9 AM and finish between 4 PM and 6 PM based on client demands and department structure.
