Job Title: Squad Leader, Health Data Enablement

The Role

As the Squad Leader, you will play a crucial role in enabling health-specific data for a range of innovative products and services, driving transformative healthcare outcomes. Leading a dynamic team of data engineers, you will be responsible for the design and development of diverse data use cases, spanning product metrics, user behavioral insights and financial health outcome. With full ownership of the product strategy and roadmap, you will guide your team through successful product cycles, ensuring the delivery of top-quality solutions.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Education: Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, health informatics, or information systems related fields.

  • Experience: Bring over 10 years of experience in data and software development, with a proven track record in regulated industries such as healthcare and financial services. Expertise in data and user privacy regulations, as well as scalable data solutions, is pivotal to excel in this role.

  • Skills:

  • Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a strategic roadmap that aligns with broader organizational goals. Effectively translate complex product features into clear and concise requirements with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria.

  • Technical Knowledge: Possess a strong technical knowledge in data, HIPAA, and cloud-native systems, enabling you to make informed decisions on feasibility and understand product directions.

  • Project Management: Showcase excellent project management skills to effectively communicate progress and address challenges with partners and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and exceeding expectations. Experience in Agile environments such as scrum or Kanban is preferred.

  • Risk and Compliance: Demonstrate experience in working with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and other relevant data privacy and security requirements. Mitigating risks associated with handling healthcare sensitive data is paramount.

  • Team Management: Provide guidance and cultivate a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. Drive clarity on goals, objectives, and expectations, propelling the team towards success.

  • Own the Outcome: Possess a proven track record of taking initiative and working independently, driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
