The WEX Health SQL Server Database Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance, performance and recoverability of the production database system. This role will be part of a team which is responsible for the health and stability of the entire production system.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide support for production databases including performance monitoring, daily management to prevent data loss, unplanned downtime or performance degradation.

  • Install, administrate and maintain schema and data to ensure maximum availability.

  • Analyzes and resolves problems associated with server hardware and applications software

  • High level knowledge with SQL Server internals, database design, T-SQL, backup/restore, SSIS, security and understanding of performance tuning and troubleshooting.

  • Participates in a 24x7x365 OnCall Rotation

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of overall IT experience working with SaaS or web development

  • 1-3+ years of hands on SQL Server Database administration

  • 1-3+ years of Experience in installing & maintaining production Microsoft SQL Server OLTP, Warehouse and Analytic / SSRS environments

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field

Desired Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience of SQL system DMVs to identify and troubleshoot performance problems

  • Tuning or refactoring stored procedures to improve performance

  • Knowledge of supporting HA systems

  • Experience with SQL 2012+

  • Knowledge with ETL tools and management

  • Experience with Source Control especially TFS knowledge and SSDT projects

  • Knowledge and experience with industry standard change and incident management procedures

  • Self-starter capable of working independently or in groups

The Payroll/Benefits Administrator will be responsible for processing a bi-weekly payroll and for administration of all benefits in a timely manner. This position will obtain information for payroll production and tax related issues, assists with bonus process, HIPPA Compliance, and responds to/resolves employee questions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Analyzes, prepares, and inputs payroll data to produce an accurate bi-weekly payroll. Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws. 2. Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports for management. 3. Compile payroll data such as garnishments, salary adjustments, vacation time, insurance, YMCA, United Way and 401(k) deductions. 4. Maintains affirmative action plan as well as filing the EEO-1 Survey on an annual basis. Report out of results to leaders as needed. 5. Responsible for developing sales plans for all sales commissioned roles in the company and processing payments through the payroll system. 6. Assists with onboarding activities including monthly orientation programs, and first day scheduling. 7. Performs various journal entries and account reconciliations. 8. Orientate new employees on payroll and benefit information. 9. Enroll new employees into health, dental, life, 401(k), and select account plans. 10. Administers workers compensation process, forwards information on to insurance company, and ensures accurate file retention. 11. HIPPA Compliance Officer An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college in accounting or 5 years of payroll or accounting experience or equivalent required. Three or more years of payroll experience preferred.
