Supervisor IT Patient Applications Core Position Highlights: Patient Applications Core Supervisor provides supervision, expertise and direction for production issue resolution, mobile device management, clinical application integration, and software development for the electronic health record in the planning, development and/or implementation of highly complex/enterprise wide cross functional programs, requests or projects.



Responsibilities:


Administration of the ticketing system Develop professional development program to help strengthen a team members professional abilities by matching the individual#s skills, business interests, and work values with opportunities for growth Manage production outages and degradations in service Provide direction for custom software development Directs, mentors and evaluates the Core team


Credentials and

Qualifications:


Bachelor#s degree

  • Computer Science or healthcare related field Please note an additional 4 years directly related work experience on top of the required 5 years for a# total of 9 years may be considered in lieu of Bachelor#s Degree Minimum two (2) years leadership experience as a team/project lead, supervisor, manager Minimum 5 years experience with software development, incident/service request resolution, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Minimum 5 years experience working on healthcare ambulatory, clinical, hospital, and/or ancillary solutions Ability to communicate effectively Ability to demonstrate collaboration with diverse stake holder groups Strong analytical # communication skills; proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, Skype, Powerpoint), Access and Visio; confidence when intervening with professionals # non-professionals; # Preferred: IT support of the current Moffitt EMR system # #
