Summary

Position Highlights:

The facilities equipment maintenance supervisor manages and assists in the completion of the day-to-day activities involving the maintenance of the building/facility, equipment and machinery, including HVAC, building lighting systems, and overall facility appearance. The position supervises and coordinates the work of employees who repair and maintain building/facility, equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates technical knowledge depth for general, electrical, fire, mechanical, utilities and associated systems according to standards established by management team.

• Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) to complete the following:

• Schedule preventative maintenance and scheduled intervention activities on facility related equipment and building components

• Assign and audits Work Order system utilization by staff

• Manages Asset inventory and retirement documentation.

• Monitors shop and staff production and report on efficiencies

• Monitors work order documentation

Credentials and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required.

• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a Facilities Operations/Maintenance role

• or-

• Minimum of five (5) years Hospital/Healthcare Facilities Experience is required with a Certified completion of a Vocational Technical program and/or apprenticeship in one of the building trades (i.e. Carpenter, Electrical, HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Plant Operator, etc.)

• Minimum of two (2) years Facilities/Support Services supervisory or lead experience is required.

• Ability to work various work shifts and/or weekends as needed.

• Ability to travel between other Moffitt Cancer Center facilities.

• Evidence of a good driving record and maintain a good record per Moffitt policy.

• Driver's License required, must obtain Florida Driver's License within 6 months of employment.
