What you will do

Executes highest level of complexity service tasks or services the full breadth of mechanical product lines. Identifies and resolves complex troubleshooting issues. Provides expert guidance to technicians of all levels. Likely to operate in one or more of the following industries: Heavy Industrial (power, marine, mining, oil and gas, forestry), large hospitals and correctional facilities, large scale transportation facilities, large scale manufacturing facilities, large office/residential complexes.

What we look for


  • University degree and 1 year suggested minimum experience, or 2 year degree and 6 years suggested minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.

  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.

  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.

  • Able to participate in an on call rotation schedule. Overnight travel may be required.

  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.

  • Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.

  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.

  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.

  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.

  • Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.

  • Prefer NICET Level III Certification in Water Based Systems.

This person willoversee the daily activities of servicing our customer's Fire Sprinkler needsin the local San Francisco area. Mentor and coach a team of Fitters. Travel tovisit our customers. Ideal candidate will have NICET II or III certification inWater Based Sprinkler Systems, have strong product knowledge, and at a levelwhere currently in a supervisory position or ready to move into this type ofrole. How you will do it * The Service Supervisor isresponsible for the proper planning, coordination, execution, andfollow-up for the service team in an assigned territory. They will liaisebetween customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timelyand successful delivery of our services and solutions. Ensuring thatcustomer needs are met, and improve the overall customer experience * Oversees and directs theService Fitter team to deliver emergency and repair services to customersin the most effective and productive manner * Establish and maintain positiveclient relationships in collaboration with senior management, sales,construction, and all other team members as needed * Manage on-call schedules,emergency response, and follow-up on field assigned tasks to ensure thatthey are done in an efficient and timely manner * The Service Supervisor isresponsible for customer satisfaction, retention of service contracts, on-callprofitability and revenue as well as creating growth and fosteringlong-term relationships enabling sales of new service and systems * The Service Supervisor isresponsible for the coordination and assignment of personnel and materialsnecessary for prompt repair of fire sprinkler, fire pumps and backflows. * Develops and builds on currentcapabilities to prepare team members for successful performance * Establish manpower requirementsand hiring to ensure sufficient staff for timely response tocustomers * Manage open tasks and monthlyrevenue volume in accordance with financial planning * Collaborate with the salesteam, to provide guidance on pricing and proposals * Understand contractrequirements, deliverables, and customer expectations in order to manageon-call work * Keep informed on profitability,revenue, bill rates, and timely payment of invoices • Work to resolveinvoice disputes * Operate as the lead point ofcontact for any matters related to emergencies and repair work * Responsible for ensuring a cohesiveand effective delivery approach of services including sub-contractors,after hours support, and emergency procedures * Adhere to Johnson Controlspolicies, procedures, programs, safety practices, and services.
