Your daily responsibilities include

  • Monitor and supervise Sports Book team for adherence to company policies, procedures, Title 31 and minimum internal control standards, and applicable jurisdiction regulations and laws.

  • Close out tellers at the end of their shifts, ensuring that all money and supporting documentation has been accounted for and secured appropriately.

  • Verifying cash drawers, complete reports, rate casino customer activity, and monitor sports book for suspicious activity

  • Prepare and stock all the daily sports sheets.

  • Explain wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and procedures to guests as needed.

  • Notify leadership team of escalated or prevalent guest issues/concerns and any apparent suspicious activity.

  • Approves and denies wagers from guests as permitted.

  • Updates and maintains all customer sheets.

  • Monitors all monies being wagered and updates the betting odds according to policy.

  • Handles guest disputes quickly and effectively within the level of their authority.

  • Assists with training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling employees.

  • Promotes safety awareness to minimize work related injuries.

  • Maintains knowledge of property information.

  • Other job-related duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High school diploma or GED; two years experience in sports or related guest service position with high-volume, cash handling.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

Other duties may be assigned. * Responsible for providing guidance and daily supervision to staff in the Cage department. Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives. * Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction. * Responsible for supporting compliance to departmental budgets. * Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. * Reports to guest inquiries and reports issues to Manager for guest recovery. * Assists in preparing/review of currency transactions reports. * Verify vault accountability at end of shift. * Assists with verification of credit line availability. * Assists with review of multiple transactions logs for accuracy. * Verification of main bank and window cashier drawers. * Authorizing checks. * Prepare fills and credits for live games when acting as cashier/banker. * Prepare jackpots as needed. * Prepare customer deposit and safekeeping log. * Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management. * Ensures all staff are trained and follow CTR and SARC procedures; responsible for making sure all paperwork is completed and reported in accordance with established compliance procedures. * Assist patrons with routine requests at Marquee Rewards, handle patron concerns and complaints, ensure patron comfort and satisfaction. * Check emails and respond to patron request emails. * Greet, register, and assist patrons. * Answer inquiries pertaining to casino services; registration of patrons. * Operate Marquee Rewards computer system. * Assist with all tax and all win loss inquiries, including subpoenas. * Communicate with other members of the Cage staff. * Maintain a working knowledge of the rules for each promotion with the ability to explain promotions to cast members and patrons. * Check voice messages throughout shift and return calls, or forward calls to management, in a timely manner. Also, respond to patron emails helping provide quality RCS. * Maintain adequate supplies of all necessary items for Marquee Rewards operations. * May redeem earned comps. * Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters. * Provide positive communication and use Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker. * Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff. * Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position's job description, where, in the Company's judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job may or may not have supervisory responsibilities. * Manages work procedures and expedites workflow. * Provides coaching and counseling to team members. REASONING ABILITY: Should be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
