The Sports Video Coordinator provides support for Student Media sports television productions.

Specific Responsibilities Work Schedule
20 hours per week at various times based on the academic schedule.

Preferred Relevant Education and Experience

Preferred Relevant Experience:

At least two years of experience in audio/video production and post-production, camera operation, non-linear editing, lighting, producing and directing live and taped shows.

Knowledge of a variety of media formats and requirements for saving and exporting.

Demonstrated experience with a non-linear editing system, Adobe Premiere.

Experience in an educational or corporate environment producing and developing video projects.

Ability to take direction and make decisions in a fast pace, deadline driven environment.

Excellent English-language written and verbal communication skills, time management, and interpersonal skills.

At least one year of experience as a manager of video production department.

Supervisory Responsibilities Has authority or responsibility for the supervision of student workers or graduate assistants only. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule

  • Ability to interact with a variety of individuals in a professional, courteous and tactful manner

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, completing accurately and in a timely manner

  • Ability to work in a detailed, organized fashion

  • Knowledge and understanding of basic computer skills

  • Ability to learn various software, including: StatCrew, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of intercollegiate sports
