Seeking a talented, highly motivated individual with strong data analysis, storytelling, and project management skills. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to discover the "why" beyond "what" data reveals. The Research Analyst will be involved in all aspects of research, working closely with the Ad Sales Research team to transform large data sets into clear insights, infer trends from a variety of data sources, and confidently present findings.

Specific responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Day-to-day research support for Univision Deportes across platforms

  • Manage, execute and analyze Nielsen audience data on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

  • Create program trend reports, highlights and materials for sales, programming, corporate communications and all levels of management

  • Generate reports utilizing various tools, including Nielsen software

  • Support sales efforts on special ad-hoc audience analysis with the guidance of VP, Sports Research

  • Ensure that research reporting is consistent, clear, accurate, relevant, insightful and timely


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Detail oriented, ability to meet deadlines and strong writing skills a plus

  • Knowledge and familiarity with sports and/or the Hispanic media landscape

  • Knowledge and use of Nielsen software; Lake 5 Media a plus

  • Digital and social metrics experience a plus

  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Spanish a plus, but not required

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in related field

  • Based in New York City
