As the Cedar Fair Sports Portfolio Marketing and Ticketing Guest Service Associate you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of the guest experience at Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point Sports Center in Sandusky, OH.

Build your knowledge in the entertainment industry and gain valuable experience. Providing great guest experience at Sports Force Parks includes selling Cedar Point tickets, special event assistance, consumer data collection, guest service and brand management, and more!

Responsibilities

  • Work with corporate and park departments to accomplish goals for Sports Force Parks.

  • Collaborate with Sports Force Parks' employees in helping with their special events and continued efforts to strengthen the partnership.

  • Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.

  • Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.

  • Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.

  • Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.

  • Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Interest in the world of sports marketing and sports facility operations as it relates to delivering a product with a high level of guest service.

  • Take initiative and maintain the company's reputation and dedication to safety, service, courtesy, cleanliness, and integrity.

  • Work collaboratively in a team setting and work independently.

  • Utilize strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Utilize problem solving skills, including having the ability to remain patient, poised, and alert to cope with challenging/unique situations.

  • Demonstrate strong time management, planning, and organizational skills in order to optimize productivity.

  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.

  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
