We're looking for a Coax Splicer to join our team and help connect America. With direction, performs duties as a Coax Splicer as a part of the construction of telecommunications to ensure scope of work performed is within standards required by our customer. What you'll do… Climb utility poles and ability to handle/use a 28-foot ladder Interprets prints in underground and aerial environment Must be self-motivated and able to work within time constraints Provides accurate daily timekeeping Keeps track of production and hours on daily reports and completing 'as-built' maps for areas built.

Performs tasks associated with the electronic upgrade and splicing of cable Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation Basic daily maintenance of provided vehicle: check fluids, clean and organize vehicle Self-supervise all operations to ensure that all splicing operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications. Safely operate and use bucket truck to complete daily construction assignments as needed (potentially climb poles) Field train and control/oversee the work of other Splicers when necessary. Complete daily production reports, mark-up maps, keep track of work hours, complete "as-built maps" for areas built and track daily production Reconcile all issued parts and materials daily to ensure accurate material usage counts.

Frequently work independently Ability to properly use hand tools, ladders, and associated equipment to assist in the completion of assigned projects Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations Other splicing related duties as assigned Qualifications Who we are looking for… Must have knowledge of installation of equipment such as nodes, amplifiers, passives Knowledge of RF, forward and return signal Must be detail oriented and proficient with paperwork Ability to read and build from blueprints and/or wire diagrams Ability to distinguish colors Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Possess a valid driver's license Ability to work in emergencies, nights and weekends if needed including but not limited to holidays and extending days.
