Requirements: Minimum of Master’s degree in Communication Disorders is required Current licensure in Speech and Language Pathology in the State of Tennessee Certified by ASHA for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech/Language Pathology or be in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) working toward the CCC Current Basic Life Support/CPR Card About the Job: Responsible for group of patients and provides speech and language therapy evaluations, modalities and treatment in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the high degree of quality care May be assigned to orient staff and students Accurately assesses patients’ needs; identifies and initiates appropriate speech and language therapy interventions; provides patient and family teaching; works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional speech and language therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
