Sentara Port Warwick Pediatrics is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Pediatrics

This is a Full-Time Day shift opportunity with GREAT BENEFTS!!!

Sentara's Port Warwick Pediatric Therapy Center offers personalized care when children struggle with learning, playing, and communicating. Our program highlights include:

As a Speech Pathologist, you will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve speech, swallowing, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

Qualifications:

  • Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) when meets eligibility requirements.
  • A Master's level degree (Speech Pathology) is required
  • 1 year of experience is required for Resource Pool applicants.

Job Summary

MLD - Master's Level Degree: Speech Pathology (Required)

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification

  • North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (NCBOESLPA), SpeechLanguage Pathologist License (SLP)

  • State license

  • Other/National, SpeechLanguage Pathologist License (SLP)

  • State license

  • Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
