Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-A)

For the 24-25 School Year

Position Summary: Public school Speech-Language Pathologists Assistants work with students who are identified with language disabilities, articulation deficits, dysfluent speech, voice disorders, and other related areas of concern.

Basic Requirements:

1.Speech Language Pathology-Assistant Registration issued by Missouri Board of Healing Arts

2.Knowledge of current speech and language strategies.

3.Knowledge, use, and application of technology in an educational setting.

4.Skills in word processing.

5.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

6.Deadline and detail-oriented.

7.Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all areas.

8.Ability to physically move throughout all district buildings and campus locations.

9.Ability to produce high-quality, error-free work products.

De Soto, "The City of Pride", has a population of 6,375 and is located in the southeastern part of Missouri, approximately 45 miles south of St. Louis.

Timeline: Open Until Filled

Salary: Starting at $22.93 with no previous experience. The district will provide credit for up to 10 years of experience + 1 for every 2 after that. 24-25 Support Staff Salary Schedule
