Job Description:
EdAdvance is seeking a Speech Language Therapist for the Birth to Three Department. The qualified candidate will be professional, organized, and able to work independently.
Major Responsibilities:
Home visitation with infants/toddlers and their families
Conduct developmental screenings and/or eligibility evaluations
Collaborate with clinical team, families, and other professionals
Participate in development of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
Assist with the transition to preschool programming and other community supports
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
Ability to develop effective relationships
Excellent interpersonal skills
Qualifications/Requirements:
CT Licensed/Certified Speech Therapist - MA/MS - CCC, SLP *(CFY candidates considered)
CT Certification 061 - CT TRB Eligible
Experience with Infants, Toddlers and Families
Service Coordinator Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling and therapeutic holding as required
Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodations
Travel: Travel required within Torrington area. Must have reliable transportation, have a driver's license, and car insurance.
