Full Time / 37.5 Hour per Week / 260 Days

Job Description:

EdAdvance is seeking a Speech Language Therapist for the Birth to Three Department. The qualified candidate will be professional, organized, and able to work independently.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Home visitation with infants/toddlers and their families

  • Conduct developmental screenings and/or eligibility evaluations

  • Collaborate with clinical team, families, and other professionals

  • Participate in development of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)

  • Assist with the transition to preschool programming and other community supports

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel

  • Ability to develop effective relationships

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • CT Licensed/Certified Speech Therapist - MA/MS - CCC, SLP *(CFY candidates considered)

  • CT Certification 061 - CT TRB Eligible

  • Experience with Infants, Toddlers and Families

  • Service Coordinator Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling and therapeutic holding as required

  • Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodations

Travel: Travel required within Torrington area. Must have reliable transportation, have a driver's license, and car insurance.
