Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Mansfield Elementary School (PreK-4)
Our elementary school is seeking a SLPA to assist speech-language pathologists in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. A SLPA will implement speech and language programs or activities as planned and directed by the speech-language pathologists including monitoring the use of alternative communication devices and systems.
Qualities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:
Passion for working with students in a school environment
Ability to collaborate, communicate and interact with a number of team members including school staff and families
Ability to collect and report student data
Ability to maintain records and documentation of the IEP implementation of goals and objectives tied to service delivery
Completion of SLPA certificate
Previous experience as a SLPA preferred
Position is 7.25 hours a day and consists of 189 work days + 10 paid holidays during the school year plus full benefits including paid time off, health/dental insurance, retirement plan, life insurance, etc.
Rate: $30.00/hour
