Welcome to Amador County Public Schools! Our unified P-12 district serves about 4,000 students and consists of the Amador County Unified School District and the Amador County Office of Education. The ACOE ALLOWS YEAR FOR YEAR EXPERIENCE CREDIT WHEN PLACING EMPLOYEES ON THE SALARY SCHEDULE. Experience must be fulltime, contracted work & over 75% of school year to qualify (substitute work does not qualify). Full time employees are required to enroll in a benefits package as part of total compensation (see www.amadorcoe.org website, Department, Business, then Benefits for plan details and rates). We pay 100% of the induction costs for our new teachers. Current clear TB Test and DOJ fingerprinting at Amador County Office of Education for the hired candidate will be required.
