Requirements / Qualifications
A valid California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential;
Official transcripts verifying the conferral of a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from a regionally-accredited college or university;
Completion of a Commission-approved Speech and Language Pathology program;
Ability to maintain insurability under the District's vehicle insurance policy;
Bilingual/biliterate (Spanish), desirable Attach the following to application: *Current resume * 2-3 letters of recommendation, current & no later than 2 years.
*Copy of valid Credential
Upon an offer of employment, candidate must provide all official undergraduate and graduate transcripts. Appointment to this position predicated upon submitting a negative TB result, and candidate must complete the state fingerprinting requirements and the district must receive a clearance by the California Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation. Within three days of employment, all new employees will show appropriate documents which certify that they are legally eligible to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to consistently sit for periods of time; talk or hear, in person and by telephone; use of hands and fingers to touch, feel or operate standard office equipment including technology, and reach with hands and arms; walking level surface, stand, bend and stoop; lifting objects 1-25 pounds; carry/push 1-25 pounds; specific vision abilities required include close vision to read and enter data into a computer; ability to distinguish sounds in transmission; speaking. Mental Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be regularly be required to use written and oral communication skills; read and interpret data, information and documents; analyze and solve problems; observe and interpret situations; learn and apply new information or skills; use math and mathematical reasoning; perform highly detailed work; work on multiple and concurrent tasks; work with frequent interruptions; work under intensive deadlines; and interact with District and program personnel, school administrators, managers, staff, vendors, the public, and others encountered in the course of work. Work Environment: Work in a computer lab, classroom, or school environment.
