Seeking a Full-time or Part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in-person for a school-based assignment in San Jose, CA, to join our team in treating and assisting with caseload management at the elementary age level grades K-5.Finish out the 2023-2024 school year with potential for extension through the 2024-2025 SY! Inclusive school site, collaborative SpEd team & staff, easy & below average caseload size – it’s a perfect position!

Responsibilities:

• Implement direct therapy and treatment plans under the supervision of an SLP.

• Document and store treatment plans and progress reports.

• Update student progress twice yearly.

• Assist in scheduling IEP meetings and maintaining speech files.

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• REQUIRED: Current California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License

• Associate's Degree in Speech Pathology or a Bachelor’s in Communication Disorders.

• Ability to build rapport with staff.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Positive and collaborative demeanor.
