Under the direction of the Administrator, SELPA/Special Education and assigned supervisor, provide itinerant services at various school sites to students with communicative disorders.

Two (2) Letters of Reference/Recommendation are REQUIRED. It is recommended that letters of references be authored by professional affiliations and specific to the open position.Speech Language Pathologists hired during the 2023 - 2024 school year shall be entitled to a $20,000.00 signing bonus, payable over a two-year period as follows:

A $5,000 payment shall be made on the first monthly payroll warrant.A $5,000 payment shall be made at the end of the first complete school year.A $5,000 payment shall be made on the first monthly payroll warrant of the second consecutive school year.A final $5,000 payment shall be made at the end of the second complete, consecutive school year.

When Speech Language Pathologist is hired mid-year or on a pro-rated contract, the signing bonus shall be pro-rated in the same proportion as the Speech Language Pathologist's employment contract.Salary Placement:

The successful applicant will be placed on the appropriate salary schedule based on the range of the position being filled. The successful applicant will be placed on Step 1 unless given credit for prior verified related professional experience. Applicant shall provide all related professional experience on application materials to complete the years of experience verification.

  • Credential Copy (Valid CA Clinical or Rehabilitative Services or Speech Language Pathology Services Credential or letter of verification from University that applicant has met all requirements and has been recommended for a Clear Clinical or Rehabilitative Services or Speech Language Pathology Services to the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing or letter stating current status in university program (letter must include information detailing remaining program requirements & anticipated completion date.)
