We want you to apply!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, development, implementation, and revision of treatment programs as necessary. You will coordinate patient care assignments to ensure continuity of care and maximum utilization of clinical/licensed supportive personnel. You will keep accurate records of the patient's treatment, reactions and assessment of progress. The patient population is comprised of all ages, with whom you will be able to provide age-specific direct care services. You will demonstrate effective resource utilization, which is critical to operational stability within the organization.What you will do in this role: * You will conduct a subjective assessment of assigned patient's speech language abilities during spontaneous conversation. You will administer objective tests to assess patient's communication assets and liabilities. * You will structure and implement individualized patient program to improve communication abilities. * You will evaluate patient regularly during treatment and adjust program as needed to maximize patient progress. * You will document progress in patient's chart. You will complete notes, charges, discharge notes and patient communication. * You will consult with Program Director and Rehab Physician/Medical Director regarding pre-screen assessments and physician consultations to determine appropriate placement of potential patients.What qualifications you will need:*

Post Graduate Degree. * Speech Language Pathologist license.* 1-3 years of experience.* BLS certification.Founded in 1974, HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is a 317-bed acute care hospital.
