Schedule: PRN

Shift : Days including 2 weekend days per month

The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Deland 701 W Plymouth Ave, Deland, FL 32720

The role you'll contribute:

Works to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication challenges in adults

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills

• Designs appropriate plans of care, including type and frequency of treatment

• Implements treatment plans using appropriate modalities

• Documents patient progress

• Plans and assists with patient discharge from therapy services and provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications :

• Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• A license or provisional license in the State as a Speech and Language Pathologist
