Speech Language Pathologist Opening- near Bellevue, WA

Bilingual Therapies is working with a School District near Bellevue, Washington who is in need of a Speech Language Pathologist for the current school year. The SLP is needed full-time to provide therapy to a caseload of students who are struggling with mild to moderate disorders. Interviews will be scheduled through Bilingual Therapies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct treatment to students with speech-language impairments

  • Develop and implement educationally-based IEP communication goals using a variety of service delivery models to support the classroom curriculum

  • Conduct speech and language screenings

  • Follow and implement treatment plans

  • Document student progress towards meeting established goals and objectives

  • Conduct formal assessments

  • Participate in IEP meetings of students on assigned caseload

  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure that students meet the goals outlined in their IEPs

  • Provide individualized classroom strategies to facilitate specific communication skills

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Must have a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders

  • Must meet state licensing requirements

  • Some school experience preferred, not required

  • Bilingual in Spanish/English or Mandarin/English a plus, not required
